Roswell Tourism Ambassador Program Set For June 23

The program exposes residents, businesses and community organizations to the industry and its impact on the local economy.

ROSWELL, GA -- The Roswell Convention and Visitors Bureau will host a program to allow you to learn more about the impact the tourism industry has on the local economy.

The upcoming Tourism Ambassador Program will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday, June 23, and allows local residents, businesses and community organizations to become familiar with the subject.

The travel and tourism industry greatly enhances the quality of life for Roswell through job creation and additional tax revenues, the CVB states. The Tourism Ambassador Program also fosters a Roswell-wide culture of exceptional service and welcoming citizenry.

Participants will gain a better understanding of all Roswell has to offer in the travel industry, and why tourism is so important. Ambassadors become educated with the tools needed to share Roswell’s hospitality with others as they conduct business, enjoy family and friends and volunteer for community organizations thereby building a greater network of tourism awareness.
