The Roswell Woman’s Club will sponsor a Meet the Candidates Forum next month at Roswell City Hall.

The event will be held from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 21 in the Council Chambers.
Three City Council seats -- Posts 1, 2 and 3, respectively and the Municipal Court judge seat -- are up for re-election.

Candidates who’ve qualified to run for these seats in the Nov. 3 election are:
- Post 1: Rich Dippolito (Incumbent), Marcelo Zapata
- Post 2: Becky Wynn (Incumbent), Michael Palermo
- Post 3 (vacant): Shayne Gray, Donald J. Horton, Kay Howell, Nathan Porter, Ricky Spencer
- Municipal Court Judge: Brian Hansford (Incumbent), unopposed.
Questions may be submitted in advance through the Club’s website or during the night of the forum. Moderating the forum will be Appen Media Group Executive Editor Hatcher Hurd. Each candidate will have a chance to provide brief opening statements and give timed responses to questions selected and posed by the moderator.
There will be an opportunity for candidates to provide closing statements before the forum concludes.
No questions will be taken directly from the audience. The doors to Roswell City Hall, which is located at 38 Hill Street, will open at 6:30 p.m.
