Royal Southern Brotherhood Brings Blues, Rock To Roswell

Roswell’s Riverside Sounds concert series will continue next month with American blues and rock band Royal Southern Brotherhood.

The free outdoor concert will be held from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday, June 6 at Riverside Park.
Two popular food trucks will be on location for the concert starting at 6 p.m., On TAPA The World and Spiedie Zone.

Royal Southern Brotherhood released its third studio album, “Don’t Look Back: The Muscle Shoals Sessions” on Tuesday, May 26. The album was recorded at the legendary FAME Studio in Muscle Shoals and produced by Grammy award-winning producer Tom Hambridge. The band is currently on tour promoting the new album.
Made up of five members that all had impressive careers of their own before joining together, Royal Southern Brotherhood is an American blues and blues rock band.
Cyril Neville is known for his amazing vocals and percussion skills as a member of the Neville Brothers and the Meters; Bart Walker is classically trained as a formal opera singer; Tyrone Vaughan, son of Jimmie Vaughan and nephew of the iconic Stephen Ray Vaughan, has found his own voice in the music industry; and original ace rhythm section bassist Charlie Wooton and drummer Yonrico Scott round out the group.
The band will also feature Daniel Gruber as special guest guitarist for the Riverside Sounds concert.
Remaining concert dates are July 11 featuring River Whyless; Aug. 1 featuring Adron; Sept. 5 featuring Monty Montgomery; and Oct. 3 featuring Get Right Band.
Riverside Sounds concerts are produced by the Roswell Recreation, Parks, Historic and Cultural Affairs Department. The series is sponsored by the Roswell Neighbor; Lee J. Howard Entertainment; Spencer Pest Control; and Scroggin & Company, P.C.
