Sinkhole Repair Requires Weekend Lane Closures In Roswell
The two southbound lanes on Atlanta Street between Oak Street and Oxbo Road will remain closed to repair the sinkhole on the shoulder.

ROSWELL, GA -- Georgia Department of Transportation contractors will work through the weekend to repair a sinkhole that's reappeared on Highway 9/Atlanta Street in Roswell.
All southbound lanes are closed between Oak Street and Oxbo Road to allow crews to repair the sinkhole on the shoulder.
For motorists, this means you will be using two northbound lanes to get through the area. One lane will be for those traveling north towards the downtown area and the other for drivers headed south towards Sandy Springs.

Of course, this will mean significant delays, so you are asked to use alternate routes to get around this area this weekend.
If you must travel through this area, be sure to slow down when traveling through the work zone and watch for crews near the roadway.
