Studio 23 Dance Offers Summer Camp for $23

Studio 23 Dance is excited to offer week-long dance camps for $23!

Choose from an array of exciting dance camps that will keep your dancer entertained all week long! Camps are available for ages 3-11 as well as ballet and choreographic summer intensives for 8-18 year-olds.

For the 3-6 year old, they can experience ”Frozen, ”Cinderella”, ”The Little Mermaid” and ”Princess Camp”. They will twirl, dress up, create, play, craft, and have a magical week of dance and making friends.

For the 7-11 year old budding dancer, campers will take classes in a variety of styles and learn different types of choreography each day. Dancers will get a chance to explore various styles including Jazz, Contemporary, and Lyrical.

We also offer a week-long ballet intensive for 8-18, ranging from beginner to more advanced levels. Dancers will have opportunities to work on core ballet skills in both technique and choreography sessions. Dancers currently en pointe will also take pointe classes throughout the week.

Also, we are bringing back by popular demand a dance experience that was a huge hit last summer, ”Young Choreographer’s Camp” for ages 10-18. This exciting camp will expose dancers to various methods of composing movement.

Classes will be taught in Improvisation, Composition, Transitioning, Spacing, and Notating Choreography. Dancers will be divided by age level and will also be given an opportunity to set their choreography on other dancers. A showcase will be presented at the end of the week.

Studio 23 offers classes in ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, hip hop and contemporary year round from the beginner dancer, to the seasoned competition level dancer.

We offer weekly classes, as well as two levels of ”Company”; Dance Link for dancers that would like to participate in a variety of styles and attend limited, local competitions, and also Principal Company, a nationally recognized dance company that competes on a regional and national level, working with renowned choreographers, master classes, and with some dancers going on to professional dance careers. At Studio 23, there is something for everyone and all ages.
