ROSWELL, GA — Make a splash at Summer Adventures Day. What better way to kick off the end of summer than in the great outdoors, August 4, at Roswell’s nature destination, the Chattahoochee Nature Center?

Summer Adventures Day is exactly what it sounds like – a celebratory day of exploration and excitement for the whole family. Kids and adults alike can gain a special appreciation for nature as they learn about water science and conservation, join in story time, experience bubble fun, meet different species of wildlife with a “creature feature,” or unleash your inner adventurer on a guided hike.

Attendees can also canoe on Kingfisher Pond and beat the heat with wet and wild games. If you want to explore your artistic side, be sure to stop by the face-painting and craft stations too.
