Suspect Robs Woman In Front Of Kids: Police
The Dec. 18 armed robbery remains unsolved, Roswell police said.

ROSWELL, GA — The Roswell Police Department continues to investigate an armed robbery of a woman in front of her children last month.
Officers were dispatched around 7 p.m. Dec. 18 to a residence at 1005 Ashley Lane and met with the woman "and her two very young children," a Roswell police incident report notes.
The woman said she had dinner with her husband and children earlier in the evening and she drove home with her little ones in the car. Once she got situated inside the home, she heard a knock at the door. Thinking it was her 12-year-old daughter, she opened the door to find a man armed with a gray handgun at his side, the report states.

The male told the victim he wanted money, and she pleaded with him not to harm her children. She led the suspect to her bedroom where she gave him $2,500 in cash from an envelop, the report adds.
The unknown male took the money and left the residence. Roswell police spokesperson Lisa Holland said the male is described to be about 5'9'' tall, and was wearing a gray zipper hoodie and white cotton gloves. The woman said he "sounded" like a black male, but she never saw his face, Holland added.
