In addition to the construction on Thomas Drive, drivers should also be aware that, starting August 10, Roswell will implement a new school zone to accommodate West Roswell Elementary School on S.R. 9/Alpharetta Highway between Woodstock Road and Holcomb Bridge Road.
The new school zone will reduce the speed limit from 40 MPH to 25 MPH from 6:55 to 7:55 a.m. and from 2:05 to 3:05 p.m. Monday through Friday during school operation. The city will install the appropriate regulatory signs and markings along the street prior to Aug. 10.
