Touch A Truck Returns To Roswell May 20
The city's event allows children and adults to get an up-close look at the equipment used to provide necessary services to citizens.
ROSWELL, GA -- Roswell will kick off National Public Works Week with a chance for you to explore the vehicles that help the city run effectively.
The city will host a Touch a Truck event from 9:30 a.m. to noon Saturday, May 20 at City Hall. The event, which will feature trucks from the Roswell Police and Fire, Transportation and Environmental/Public Works departments.
Touch a Truck allows citizens of all ages a first-hand look at the equipment used to provide necessary services to Roswell’s families. Kids and adults alike can explore the mysterious workings of the street sweeper or watch up close just how the sanitation truck works.

Roswell's event kicks off National Public Works Week, which runs May 22-26. The theme for 2017 is “Public Works Connects Us." National Public Works Week celebrates the vital role public works plays in connecting us all together. As the cornerstone of civilization, public works provides, maintains, and improves the structures and services that assure a higher quality of life for our communities.
