Traffic Alert: Lane Closures Planned For Vickers Construction

ROSWELL, GA -- Traffic near Canton Street and Woodstock Road in downtown Roswell will be affected by lane closures on Thursday, June 29.

That's because the contractor working on the Vickers development will be pouring concrete for the development's second floor slab. The positioning of the concrete trucks and pump will require the closure of one lane on Woodstock Road and one lane on Canton Street from 7 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., the city of Roswell said.

Traffic will still be able to move in both directions on both roads. A traffic-control officer will assist drivers navigating through the area, the city added.

Signage will be in place on Woodstock and Crabapple Roads to forewarn southbound drivers of the impending delay.
