enAble of Georgia Receives $10,000 Sponsorship

ROSWELL, GA – enAble of Georgia (enAble) received a $10,000 Gala sponsorship from the UPS Foundation, which drives global and corporate citizenship and philanthropic programs for UPS (NYSE:UPS).
Tony Williams of the UPS Foundation presented the check to enAble of Georgia’s Development Team at their Roswell location on March 13, 2017. The enAble of Georgia 29th Annual Dare to Dream Gala fundraised over $250,000 for the organization and the funds will help support the 120 adults with developmental disabilities that enAble serves.
enAble of Georgia was founded in 1979 by a group of concerned parents unsure of the future of their adult aged children with developmental disabilities after high school. enAble of Georgia operates 18 group homes, two day programs, community living supports and supported employment programs in Fulton County.

The UPS Foundation has been a continuous supporter of enAble of Georgia and in 2016, they awarded a grant to enAble for $15,000 to assist with updated technology for the new and improved day services location that is currently under renovation.
The updated location will have a dedicated computer room for the adults in the day program and is scheduled for a Spring 2017 grand re-opening.
