Volunteers Needed To Help Clean Old Roswell Cemetery
The clean-up effort will take place on Saturday, May 16 at the cemetery, which is at 38 Hill Street.

Spring is here and Old Roswell Cemetery is looking beautiful with wildflowers blooming. With that in mind, it’s now time to continue to clean those monuments to preserve their precious information.

Residents are invited to join volunteers with the Roswell Historical Society to help clean Old Roswell Cemetery from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, May 16.
Volunteers will be taught how to properly clean a monument. Bring a gallon of water, spray bottle or clean low pressure sprayer filled with water, soft-bristled brush, old toothbrush, plastic scraper and a whisk broom if you have one.

After we finish, we head to Lucky’s to enjoy lunch on the pavilion. Interested parties are asked to RSVP for cleaning and/or lunch to Janet Johnson at jfj518@hotmail.com.
