Water Line Work To Cause Service Disruption

Roswell crews will tie in a new 8-inch water line at the intersection of Myrtle and Oak streets, which will affect surrounding customers.

Weather permitting, the city of Roswell on Tuesday, Nov. 24 will tie-in a new eight-inch water line at the intersection of Myrtle Street and Oak Street.

The work is expected to be completed in one day.

Water service will be disrupted in this area from about 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and will affect customers on Myrtle Street, Oak Street, Forrest Street, Grove Way and Grove Place, the city said.

Construction will occur in the middle of the intersection and crews will be providing a detour for commuters. Drivers are asked to avoid the area and use other routes, if possible.
