What's Open, Closed For Christmas, New Year's Day in Roswell
Here's what you can expect as we prepare to close out 2015.

Residents who may need to take care of some last-minute issues with the city of Roswell will have a short window of opportunity to do so this week.

That’s because the city will close up shop on Christmas Eve, Dec. 24, and Christmas Day, Dec. 25. Things will return to a normal schedule on Monday, Dec 28.
However, the city will once again close Friday, Jan. 1, 2016 for New Year’s Day. You can expect things to return to normal on Monday, Jan. 4, 2016.

The Roswell Recycling Center will be closed for Christmas as well as New Year’s. Yard waste collection will be moved to Saturday, Dec. 26 for Friday customers while garbage and recycling collection will be pushed back to Monday, Dec. 28 for Friday customers.
To accommodate the New Year holiday, yard waste collection will be moved to Saturday, Jan. 2 for Friday customers and garbage and recycling collection will be postponed to Monday, Jan. 4 for Friday customers.
The Fulton County School System, including all schools and administrative offices, will be closed for the winter break between Dec. 21 and Jan. 1. Administrative offices and schools will re-open Jan. 4, with teacher workdays planned for Jan. 4-5. Classes resume for second semester on January 6.
Fulton County administrative offices will also be closed Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.
The Atlanta-Fulton Public Library System will close its branches Dec. 24-25 and will reopen Saturday, Dec. 26. It will also close its facilities on New Year’s Day.
