What's Opened, Closed on Thanksgiving Day in Roswell

As expected, you won’t be able to get any business you have with the local government out of the way on Thursday and Friday.

That’s because the city of Roswell will temporarily cease operations on Thursday, Nov. 26 and Friday, Nov. 27 in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday. City business will return to a normal schedule on Monday, Nov. 30.

The Roswell Recycling Center will also close on Thursday and Friday. However, garbage and recycling collection will run as usual for Thursday customers, but yard waste collection will be moved to Friday, Nov. 27 for those citizens. 

For Friday customers, garbage and recycling collection will be postponed until Monday, Nov. 30, but yard waste collection will occur as usual.

Additionally, the Roswell and East Roswell public library branches will also be closed on both days. Both libraries will reopen on Saturday, Nov. 28.

Fulton County government offices will also close on Thursday and Friday.
