Roswell officers and crews with the city’s Fire and Rescue Department responded to a 911 call around 10:25 a.m. Jan. 31 at a home on Riverbend Manor, which sits off Holcomb Bridge Road.
Roswell police spokesperson Lisa Holland said Brown’s husband and friend found the woman unresponsive in a tub inside the home and started CPR.
An incident report released by the Roswell Police Department did not shed much light onto the situation, other than the officer responding referenced a “drowning” when describing the incident. The report also shows a dozen officers who assisted with Saturday’s response and investigation.
Police and fire crews took over life-saving measures once they arrived onto the scene, and Brown, 21 was transported to the Roswell hospital for treatment.
Holland said police are considering approaching the case as medically-related, and investigators have found nothing to indicate Brown’s condition was caused by drugs or alcohol.
