Who Won Roswell's Boo Y'all Scarecrow Contest?

Over 40 scarecrows were placed around the city's historic district for the concert.

The results are in, and the winners of Roswell’s 2015 Boo Y’all Scarecrow contest have been released.

Votes were tabulated on Facebook, and scarecrows in the historic district will be in place until Nov. 1.

The winners, which were revealed at the October Alive After 5 series, are:

  • Third place, with 200 votes and receiving $100, is Elkins Pointe Middle School. Their entry is on Canton Street in front of The Cat Clinic.
  • Second place, with 254 votes and receiving $200, is Dojo American Karate Center at Roswell/Crabapple. Their scarecrow is at 1144 Canton Street in front of Sweet.
  • First place, receiving the $300 cash prize, is Roswell Ghost Tour, whose entry is at the corner of Canton Street and Webb Street.

While these were the top vote-getters in this year’s contest, over 40 scarecrows were placed around Roswell’s historic district for the contest.
