Woman Found Passed Out While Breastfeeding Baby: Report
The Roswell resident was behind the wheel of a truck when she was discovered by a police officer.

ROSWELL, GA -- A Roswell woman has been charged with driving under the influence after an officer stumbled upon her passed out while breastfeeding a child.
At around 2:33 a.m. July 29, an officer with the Roswell Police Department "made contact" with a motorist who was allegedly passed out behind the wheel of a 2008 GMC Sierra, an incident report released by the agency says.
The officer notes the truck was facing eastbound on Barrington Drive, which sits off Marietta Highway west of S.R. 9/Atlanta Street in downtown Roswell.

The officer notes the woman was "passed out and breastfeeding a baby" at the time of the discovery, the report adds. An approximate age of the infant is not outlined in the police narrative.
The responding officer determined the woman, identified as 35-year-old Roswell resident Melissa Rae Tomesh, was impaired.

Tomesh was charged with one count of DUI, cruelty to children in the second degree and endangering the life of a child.
Fulton County Jail records show Tomesh was booked into the facility with a $2,500 bond.
