That’s according to the city of Sandy Springs, which said on Saturday that vehicular travel is “once again possible” at the major intersection.
The city implemented a detour in April to begin work on realigning the intersection and adding traffic signals to enhance vehicular movement in the area.

While the intersection is open, additional construction work is needed on the road shoulder, and final striping will take place in the coming weeks.
Those activities will require lane closures for the next few weeks, so motorists are asked to use caution as the travel through the area.
