• Sandy Springs neighbors raise concerns over synagogue move (appenmedia.com) — Neighbors in a Sandy Springs protected neighborhood district are pushing back against a variance request that would let Kesher Torah of Sandy Springs move its synagogue to Long Island Terrace closer than normally allowed to their homes. They worry limited on-site parking will push cars onto narrow streets and that growing attendance could increase traffic and noise, concerns the Board of Appeals will consider Oct. 1.
