Sandy Springs Trafficking Suspect Hit With 12 Felony Charges

Police rescued 8 women from a $1M Sandy Springs home after one of the victims called 9-1-1 to report she was being held against her will.

SANDY SPRINGS, GA -- The man accused of holding eight women against their will in a $1 million Sandy Springs mansion will be facing 12 additional charges.

That's according to the Sandy Springs Police Department, which said detectives have charged Kenndric Traman Roberts, 33, with a dozen felony counts, including five counts of false imprisonment, five counts of trafficking persons for labor and two counts of possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.

Those 12 charges are on top of the trafficking and false imprisonment charges he was initially arrested on earlier this week.

With the help of agents from the FBI's Atlanta Field Office, detectives assisted all eight women in leaving the home at 100 Strauss Lane.

On Friday, police revealed an A-K 47 and a Glock .45 caliber handgun were both recovered during the investigation.

The 9-1-1 caller told police she and the other girls were forced to dance for money. She arrived at the home about a month ago and was forced to undergo plastic surgery. She told the dispatcher she met Roberts, whom she referred to as her "boss," on a website called SeekingArrangements.com, a dating website where younger women can look for relationships with older men.

The caller added that Roberts repeatedly told the girls that they were free to leave when they wanted. However, she added that he would threaten to kill them if they made that choice.

Roberts was booked into the Fulton County Jail on March 8 and remains held at the facility without bond.

The Sandy Springs Police Department is asking any other victims or individuals with information to contact the agency or the FBI at (404) 679-9000.
