Dating App Armed Robbery Remains Under Investigation

Detectives with the Sandy Springs Police Department continue to investigate an incident in which a woman said she was robbed at gunpoint by a man she met using a popular dating app.

She met the man on Tinder, a dating app users can download onto their smartphones, according to an incident report released by Sandy Springs police. "During the encounter, the victim exchanged words with the male and then noticed the male acting suspiciously," the report states. >>> Read more.

Gwinnett Man Arrested For 'Exotic' Animals

A Gwinnett County man was arrested Sunday for possession of exotic animals, including cobras and an alligator.

Jesus M. Cruz-Concepcion was charged with possession of a wild animal without a permit and possession of a game animal without a permit. Animals in Cruz-Concepcion's possession included two monocled cobras and an alligator, DNR spokesman Mark McKinnon said Tuesday. >>> Read more.
