Woman Attacked By Man After Parking In Handicap-Designated Spot: Blotter
The following information was taken from the Sandy Springs Police Department's Weekly Wrap Up.

SANDY SPRINGS, GA -- Editor’s note: the following incidents were taken from the Sandy Springs Police Department’s Weekly Wrap Up compiled by Capt. Steve Rose, which contains some — not all — of the incidents that occurred June 23-27:
First this: A man reported that he left town on June 16 and returned on the 26th. He discovered that someone stole $2,500 that was on top of his desk in his apartment. He noted that the pest control company had come by to check for pests. Capt. Steve Rose says: that is a lot of money to leave laying around – especially in an apartment, since it is well-known that the manager and maintenance crew all have key access. Staff are always on the top of the suspect list but rarely involved. Still, the “friend-of-a-friend” method could easily result in gaining access to the cash. Bottom line: not a smart move.
