  1. The Savannah Fire Department (SFD) responded to a kitchen fire at a local restaurant overnight Wednesday into Thursday morning. Officials say a fire in the kitchen of Ole Times Country Buffet set off the fire alarm and the building's sprinkler system. (WSAV-TV)
  2. The City of Savannah says a portion of the downtown road South Bull Street, between State Street and York Street, will be closed for three years for a nearby U.S. courthouse renovation project. The road closed on Tuesday, and traffic will be rerouted to Whitaker Street. (WJCL News)
  3. The new Savannah city manager, Jay Melder, held his first (virtual) council meeting at 4 p.m. yesterday to go over his 90-day action plan. (WTOC)
  4. Savannah's Armor Up initiative is fighting an uphill battle to get more people in Chatham County vaccinated, especially in the Black community. (WSAV-TV)
