  1. The Savannah-Chatham County Public School System has announced the Superintendent's Student of the Month. Lauren Magwood, a fifth-grade student at Whit Bluff Elementary, has been awarded the honor. The district has highlighted her positive attitude and exceptional leadership qualities. (WSAV-TV)
  2. The Savannah Regional Film Commission is searching for its new executive director. The organization is currently accepting applications for the position. The current executive director, Beth Nelson, is stepping down at the end of this year. The position is responsible for managing the marketing of the Savannah region to the film industry.   3. An area on Cape Street between Morris and Brewer has been designated the "Honorary Raphael Warnock Way." The designation is meant to honor Sen. Raphael Warnock's contributions to the community. The designation was approved in August by the Savannah City Council and was dedicated during a ceremony on Thursday with Sen. Raphael Warnock in attendance. (WTOC)
