📢 I'm looking for business owners and marketers in Savannah who want to build awareness, connect with customers and increase sales.

I have a limited number of sponsorships available to introduce our Savannah Daily readers to local businesses they need to know about. If that's you, then I invite you to learn more and secure your spot now.

Here are the top three stories in Savannah today:

  1. The Savannah Speech and Hearing Center offers free hearing screening every Thursday. The screenings are for those older than 2 years of age and are offered from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. The screenings are conducted by a trained audiology assistant and are conducted on a first-come-first-served basis. (Savannah Tribune)
  2. Savannah Mayor Van Johnson is warning the community of 'quick cash for homes' schemes. The schemes are reportedly increasing calls, texts, and personalized postcard campaigns urging residents to sell their homes for quick cash. The scheme is currently not illegal but the Mayor warns that it is bordering on harassment at this point in time. (WSAV-TV)
  3. The Savannah Chatham County Public School System has approved the change of bell times to address transportation issues. The school board approved the proposal by a vote of five to two. The proposal pushes up bell times at Godley Station K-8 and pushes back bell times at New Hampstead K-8 & Rice Creek K-8. The board hopes that the changes will alleviate the pressure on the district's ongoing bus driver shortage. (WTOC)
