State School Superintendent Richard Woods posted this letter to schools, families, and students.

11/2/2021

The Family-School Partnership Program encourages the recognition of the many engaged parents across the state during Family Engagement Month.  Each November,  schools are invited to participate in celebrating family engagement through a variety of activities and initiatives.  The Georgia Department of Education’s (GaDOE) Family-School Partnership Program welcomes all Title I districts and schools to submit a virtual game-based learning project in recognition of Family Engagement Month.  Schools are invited to create a virtual game board, that will link to online academic  resources, for parents and students to play at home in support of student learning.  Each entry will be entered into a statewide contest with regional winners being announced on National Parental Involvement Day, November 18, 2021.  For activity contest details, click here
