SCCPSS: Charles Ellis Montessori Student Places 3rd In PBS KIDS Writers Contest

Charles Ellis Montessori 3rd grader Annie Hartley has been awarded 3rd place in her division of the Spring 2021 PBS KIDS Writers Contest. Annies' submission is titled “The Brilliant Lesson".

She was among hundreds of K-3 students in Georgia who participated in the 2021 PBS KIDS Writers Contest. Students submitted original, illustrated stories for the chance to win great prizes and be featured on GPB's website.

A first, second, and third place winner was selected for each grade. Each grade level also had a STEAM winner--ones that best incorporated science, technology, engineering, arts, or mathematics. Annie was the third place winner for the second grade submissions entered last school year.
