• DeKalb County invites public to shape future parks in master plan update (roughdraftatlanta.com) — Scottdale residents can directly influence DeKalb County's future parks at a public meeting on Thursday, Oct. 1, 6–8 p.m., at Tobie Grant Recreation Center on Parkdale Drive. County officials are updating the Comprehensive Parks Master Plan and want feedback on trails, facilities, programs, and park improvements across DeKalb, so local voices from Scottdale are strongly encouraged to participate.
