3 Women Visiting Atlanta Die In Cobb Crash; GoFundMe Started

Three young women visiting for the weekend from Ohio died after a car crash while heading home.

COBB COUNTY, GA — Three young Ohio women died Sunday in a car crash in Cobb County. Only in town for the weekend, the girls, one who was pregnant, headed back Sunday when their car broke down in Tennessee.

Cassandra Blackmon told WAGA-TV that they were friends of her son Demetrius. Blackmon said her son’s friend drove to get them and bring them back to Atlanta when the crash happened on Six Flags Parkway near Queensferry Drive.

A GoFundMe page for MiTia, 17, and Chloe and Maniya have been created for their families to bring their bodies back home.
