A Saturday for football and more
Sure there's plenty of college football action to watch today, but that's not all there is to do in Smyrna-Vinings.
There’s loads of college football to be viewed this first Saturday of October. But if don’t get exactly jazzed this time of year when toe meets leather, there’s a variety of other local options to keep you occupied and entertained this fall weekend day.
To help celebrate National Fire Safety month, a Precinct 3 Cobb county police officer will be visiting in Vinings Saturday from 1-3 p.m. Cowlicks is offering all servicemen and women 50 percent off yogurt and float purchases throughout the month of October.
The police officer will be onsite Saturday to promote emergency service education to children through the distribution of police memorabilia and tours of a police car.
