All the worry in the world doesn't change a thing.
There was a time when what little sleep I would get was filled with horrible dreams and night sweats. Not good to say the least!! Then I was reminded of the power of acceptance, and I began to practice letting go. I surrounded myself with affirmations written on yellow post it notes and set my alarm to ring to remind me to stop and sit in silence for one minute...then two...then three........ Sometimes I would cry because I felt a need to release. Then I'd always call a friend, someone who would listen to me and remind me on possible solutions to my pain and confusion. There is no other power like these "soul to soul" connections and they are FREE :) Need a friend to listen? I'm here for you call me 678 571 8838 and you can share with me, anonymously and confidentially for 10 minutes. Then we'll talk about the solution only when you are ready to change. In the meantime, I'll just listen. Action is always required to make a change...but only if you are ready, willing, able. Attitude Matters
"Worry and fear are negative emotions that serve no useful purpose. Worse, they are not benign influences on your behavior. Both tend to expand if left unchecked until they crowd out positive emotions and beliefs, taking over your mind and filling it with counterproductive emotions that cause you to doubt your ability to succeed at anything you attempt. Unless you control worry and fear, one day you will discover that they control you. While the emotions can’t always be corrected with logic or reason, they are always susceptible to action. Act, and even if your actions aren’t entirely appropriate for the situation, the very act of doing something — anything — constructive will have a positive effect on your mind and attitude." N. Hill
