ATL Hotel Guest Attacks Employee, Cobb Police Open Investigation

COBB COUNTY, GA — An Atlanta hotel guest and an employee are captured on camera in a physical brawl. The dispute started after the guest got upset over incidental charges on her bill, according to news reports.

A hotel spokesman told New York Post that things quickly escalated.

The employee at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Atlanta Galleria is seen beating a woman Monday afternoon with a phone and pulling her hair, but spokesman Chris Daly said the circulating clips online didn’t show the entire incident. The guest attacked the employee unprovoked first, he said.

Another clip shows the guest holding a phone by the cord and she chases the employee right before hitting her with it.

Daly told the outlet that the employee had minor injuries and filed a report with Cobb County police. The female guest fled the hotel after the incident. The investigation is ongoing.
