Canoe's "Song of the South" Outdoor Concert Series Returns Sept. 24
The first performers scheduled for this year's concert series is Sans Abri.

Cumberland-based Canoe restaurant will open its outdoor River Bar to another season of live music during September and October as part of its yearly “Song of the South” concert series.
According to Canoe, the first Song of the South performance of the fall will be held on Sept. 24 from 7 to 10 p.m. with Sans Abri. Every Wednesday until Oct. 29, another artist or group of artists will entertain restaurant patrons while they enjoy appetizers or dinner from Chef Matthew Basford.
Guests interested in slaking their thirsts will be treated to local beers, cocktails, and award-winning wines from the River Bar. During the evening, guests are also free to walk around the garden which fronts the Chattahoochee River.

The schedule for Song of the South is as follows:
- Wednesday, September 24 - Sans Abri
- Wednesday, October 1 - Smokey’s Farmland Band
- Wednesday, October 8 - Sam Lewis
- Wednesday, October 15 - Cicada Rhythm
- Wednesday, October 22 - High Strung String Band
- Wednesday, October 29 - The Deadfields
