Cobb Police Seek Vinings Attempted Bank Robbery Suspect
The suspect fled the bank before receiving any money from the teller, police said.

Cobb County police are asking for the publicβs help to identify a man they believe tried to rob a bank in Vinings on Wednesday morning.

According to spokeswoman Alicia Chilton, a man walked into the BB&T Bank at 3175 Galleria Parkway at 10:54 a.m. and handed a demand note to a teller. As the teller was gathering up money to give to the suspect, he fled the building without any cash and drove off in a silver Dodge Charger.
Chilton says the suspect is a black male, standing 6β03β tall, and is described as being heavy set and having facial hair. He was last seen wearing a grey NIKE zip-up hoodie, black pants, and a royal blue/white ball cap with βCβ on the front.
