Cobb Vehicles Damaged by Socks Filled with Rocks
At least two vehicles in Cobb County have been damaged by "sock bombs." Police are investigating the incidents.

Cobb County police are looking for the person or persons responsible for throwing socks filled with sand or rocks at passing cars, WSB-TV reports.
The projectiles, called “sock bombs,” have already smashed a windshield of one vehicle and crashed through the grill of another. A motorist driving along Kennesaw Due West Road was the victim of two sock bombs. The driver got out of his car and found several other sock bombs littering the roadside.
Unfortunately for the sock bomb thrower or throwers, the man whose car they pelted on Kennesaw Due West Road was a former police officer, and he has offered a reward for information that will lead to the arrest of the culprits.
