Cumberland Mall Tops in Car Break-ins

ATLANTA, GA -- A new report from Channel 2 Action News says that Cumberland Mall is No. 1 in metro Atlanta in terms of car break-ins.

Even though the Mall of Georgia is the state's largest, it came in at No. 6 with 50 break-ins last year, compared to Cumberland Mall's 140.

Channel 2 compiled the list after researching a year's worth of police reports.

Police say pieces of spark plus and screwdrivers are commonly used to smash car windows.

Here are the top 15 malls in metro Atlanta in terms of car break-ins in 2015:
