Do you wonder where tomorrow’s good jobs and careers will come from? Would you like to start your own business? Do you worry about the future of the environment, especially for the children? Could the business you own or run benefit from an exciting new product or service line?
Staff of the Smyrna-based EcoAction Factory & Green School will introduce its program of low-cost, year-round seminars and workshops for consumers, businesses, entrepreneurs, investors, students and faculty, policy-makers and other key audiences. Local exhibitors and vendors will be on hand with cutting edge environmental solutions for homeowners and businesses. Regular half-day and full-day educational sessions will begin in the Spring on a weekly basis.
The school will teach consumers, especially women, how to use their purchasing power to command better alternatives to polluting technologies, products, services, processes and methods. Businesses, entrepreneurs and investors will learn how to find the profit in legitimate environmental solutions. Other sessions include programming for audiences interested in environmental “makeovers” of residential and commercial properties, water conservation services, solar electricity adaptations for homes and businesses, energy efficiencies that save money and reduce carbon emissions and natural sewage treatment systems that cost less and perform better than conventional methods.
