Emory-Adventist Hospital at Smyrna offers a 12 Week Grief Recovery Group that begins on Monday, September 24, 6-8 PM. Join the Grief Recovery Group, called Moving Forward to gain insights to understand and begin to move beyond your grief. During this 12-week class, you will discover the different types of losses which can cause grief, misconceptions to grief, and ways to recover from your loss. Educational materials for the class include, The Grief Recovery Handbook - The Action Program for Moving Beyond Death, Divorce, and Other Losses, including Health, Career, & Faith and accompanying materials by course founders, John W. James and Russell Friedman. This class will be taught by Chaplain Casey Leno, a certified Grief Recovery Specialist.
