Future Spartans Invited to 8th Grade Academic Night
The evening will feature discussions on honors and Advanced Placement options available to ninth graders.
Campbell High School will host an academic night for eighth grade students who will become Spartans next year.
Future Spartans and their families can attend "8th Grade Academic Night" on Tuesday, Sept. 17 at 7 p.m. in the Campbell theatre.
Topics discussed at the event will include the honors and Advanced Placement (AP) options offered to ninth graders at Campbell High School.
The evening will feature current honors and AP students and teachers, include an explanation of the tougher curriculum and higher expectations of AP and honors students, and how AP and honors students can earn college credits for their work.
There will also be a discussion of the Academic Pathway that can be included in a student's Individual Graduation Plan.
