King Springs Elementary Named School of Excellence

A Smyrna elementary school has been recognized by the National PTA for its robust family-school partnership.

King Springs Elementary has been named a School of Excellence by the national organization. Only 170 schools in the country earned the honor. The prestigious designation is awarded to a school that, “supports and celebrates partnerships between PTAs and schools to enrich the educational experience and overall well-being for all students.”

The National PTA believes that a school with strong family involvement and engagement leads to greater academic success.

The school will soon receive a banner recognizing its achievement.
