Motorist Shot at Smyrna-Vinings Intersection Thursday Morning
The driver was taken to a local hospital with a non life-threatening wound.

Smyrna, GA -- Police are investigating an apparent road-rage shooting that happened Thursday morning at a Smyrna-Vinings intersection.
Police say a man who was driving a white Dodge Ram was shot in the hip on Cumberland Boulevard near Paces Ferry Road after "some sort of traffic related issue with some other vehicle while on Paces Ferry," according to a Cobb police statement.
As the man was turning onto Cumberland, he was shot by a driver in a black SUV that fled the scene heading east towards Cobb Parkway.

The driver of the Dodge was transported to a local emergency room with a non-life threatening gunshot wound.
