UPDATE: Marietta Man Ejected from Car, Killed in I-75 Wreck in Smyrna
The rear-end collision caused the two vehicles to flip, one landing on its roof and the other landing on its left side, police said.

UPDATE: Cobb County police have released additional information on the fatal accident which occurred on Interstate 75 in the Smyrna area on Thursday night.
According to police, a blue 2004 Lexus RX330 traveling south on the interstate near Windy Hill Road rear-ended a blue 2001 Ford Escape, causing the escape to flip onto its roof and slide into the grassy median and causing the Lexus to roll several times before landing on its left side in the southbound lanes of traffic.
The driver of the Lexus, 31-year-old Ronald Washington of Marietta, was ejected from the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Ford, 54-year-old Laszlo Nyerges of Huntsville, AL, was taken to Kennestone Hospital where he was treated for non life-threatening injuries, police said.

Police say they do not expect to file charges in this incident.

According to WSB-TV, Cobb police say two vehicles collided at 75 south and Windy Hill Road. One person was ejected from one of the vehicles and died at the scene, police told WSB-TV.
Several lanes of traffic have been closed while police investigate the scene.
