Smyrna Restaurant Robbed at Gunpoint: Police
The armed robbery happened early Monday morning.

Cobb County police are working to track down the man who robbed a Smyrna Waffle House at gunpoint on Monday morning.
Police spokesman Dana Pierce said that the man walked into the restaurant at 4458 Atlanta Road at 3:15 a.m. and demanded money from the clerk. The suspect kept his hands in his pockets as if he was brandishing a firearm, investigators said. After he took the cash drawer from the register, he fled the area on foot in an unknown direction.
Witnesses described the suspect as a light-skinned black male standing around 6’2” tall with a thin build. He was last seen wearing a gray hoodie, army fatigue pants, a black mask, and gloves.
