Not everyone knows that local funnyman of many talents Tyler Perry has added playwright and director to his roster of accomplishments. will be rolling out Perry’s brand-spanking-new musical “Aunt Bam’s Place” beginning tonight.

Starring Cassi Davis as the outrageously comical character Aunt Bam, this is a rollicking tale of family drama with the generous helping of hilarity one expects from the creator of the zany character Madea. Involving a nephew’s dilemmas juggling his nervous wife, visiting children, and drunken ex-wife, only Aunt Bam can sort out the raucous mess.

Melanie Daniels and American Idol’s Parris Bennett also star in this terrific cast of actors and singers.
