Team GLOCK Brings Home Championship Honors
Tori Nonaka won High Lady and Classification titles, while Deon Martin earned Master Class honors with the G41.

Two members of Smyrna-based GLOCK’s firearms team won awards at recent competitions, including the Georgia State Championship held at the Cherokee Gun Club in Gainesville on Sept. 11-13.
Tori Nonaka participated in the Georgia event for Team GLOCK and won several awards for her trouble. Nonaka scored 1099 out of a possible 1100 points and earned a sixth place finish overall and a first place finish for Class B shooters. She scored consecutive third place finishes in stages 3 and 4 of the nine-stage competition. This was good enough to earn her High Lady honors for the event.
Deon Martin was in Tulsa, OK, competing at another event. He too performed exceptionally well, bringing home a Master Class win using the G41 Gen4 handgun. Martin’s win was all the more impressive because he used a stock pistol in the competition, unlike pistols modified to shoot the .45 AUTO round that other participants were using.
