Three Men in Custody Following Fatal Shooting in Smyrna
Two people were shot at an apartment complex, one of which later died from her wounds.

Three people have been arrested by Cobb County and Smyrna police following a double shooting at a Smyrna apartment complex which claimed one woman’s life on Wednesday.
Officer Christopher Graeff with the Smyrna Police Department says that two people were shot at 1707 Lincoln Trace Cir. A man was grazed by a bullet and treated on the scene, while a woman was taken to the hospital where she later died from her wounds.
WSB-TV reports that following the shooting, the suspects fled the scene in a red Toyota Camry. A Smyrna police officer spotted the suspects’ vehicle and gave chase. The Camry hit another vehicle and flipped on its roof in the vicinity of Paces Mill Road near Paces Ferry Road. All three suspects were arrested following the accident.

Police believe that the shooting was a robbery or burglary gone wrong, but they are still investigating the motive for the shooting
