Man's Body Found Near Pasture in Snellville
Police are investigating the death as a homicide.

SNELLVILLE, GA — Police are investigating a homicide in Snellville after a worker reported finding a man's body in a rural patch of the area.
Police were called at 8:42 a.m. Wednesday to the end of Lenora Road. The call came from a worker tasked with patrolling a pasture in that area.
The worker said that when he got to the gate at the end of the property, he found a man lying face up in the grass on the shoulder of Lenora Road. The worker tried to revive the man, but he did not respond.

The Gwinnett County Fire Department was first to arrive on the scene and declared the man dead.
Lenora Road dead ends a short distance from where the body was discovered. Police were working Wednesday to determine if the man was killed at that location or if his body was placed there after a homicide somewhere else.

The medical examiner was on the way to the scene late Wednesday morning.
Police were not yet announcing a cause of death.
The victim's identity remained unknown Wednesday morning.
