GA Mass Shooting Of 12: Teen Arrested, Bond Ruling For 2 Suspects

MACON, GA — A teenage boy has been arrested in connection with a mass shooting that injured a dozen people Sunday at a park, authorities said.

Criminal investigators have arrested Ahmad Lundy, 15, and are charging him as an adult in connection with the case, the Bibb County Sheriff's Office said Tuesday. Lundy faces 12 counts of aggravated assault, authorities said.

The shooting happened during a party shortly after midnight at Carolyn Crayton Park, authorities said. Twelve people were injured.

Partygoers were gathered at the local skate park when another group of people crossed the street, authorities said. During an exchange of words, authorities said members of both groups pulled out guns and shot at each other.

Bond on Tuesday was denied for suspects David Pitts, 24, and Jaquez Bailey, 20. Pitts was charged with 12 counts of aggravated assault party to a crime, and Bailey was charged with 12 counts of aggravated assault, authorities said.

On Tuesday, authorities said they also arrested Lantonio Hill, 17, and Justin Green, 19. The pair face 12 counts of aggravated assault, and Green additionally faces a charge of violation of probation, authorities said.

The latter four were taken to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center, while Lundy was taken to the Macon Regional Youth Detention Center after being processed at the county jail, authorities said.
