Armed Robbery at Austell Subway Early Monday Morning

AUSTELL, GA -- A Subway on Austell Road was the sight of an armed robbery early Monday morning.

Police say a man armed with a handgun forced an employee inside the business as it was opening and demanded money. He then fled the business on foot after obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect is described as a black male, 5’7”-5’8” in height and weighing between 150-165 pounds.
